Description
Hi, my name is Karen H and I have been a home carer for over 20 years with a passion for helping people lead independent and fulfilling lives. I am a female with friendly, helpful and caring attributes. I specialize in hourly and overnight care for clients who need assistance with their daily living activities.
I am motivated by the fact that providing care is more than just completing tasks, it's about building relationships and making a positive impact on someone's life. Over the years, I have gained experience in caring for clients with mild cognitive impairment, bedbound individuals, Parkinson's disease, anxiety and depression.

Karen is the most hardworking and kindest person I have ever worked with. She is warm, empathetic, understanding and totally dedicated to her clients. She is reliable will never let you down and gives 100 per cent. She spent a whole year caring for her Father who developed Alzheimer’s but an aggressive form as his main carer often 24 hours a day as he rarely slept. I have great admiration for her. I have no doubt she would be an amazing asset to you.

Karen has been volunteering with us for just over 6 months, in that time she has proved to be a very popular and valuable member of our team. Karen is always willing to help out with whatever is asked of her with enthusiasm and empathy. She has an extremely caring and friendly nature and takes time to both chat to and, most importantly, listen to our members, picking up very quickly their individual needs and reporting back any concerns. Feedback from our members is that Karen is very much liked and that they feel at ease with her caring nature.

Karen looked after our mum for a few weeks following an operation. She has a lovely manner, our mum felt confident and safe with her and really enjoyed her company. Karen is kind, capable and very knowledgeable. She is caring, listens and discusses any suggestions she might have with us. We would highly recommend her.
